The Hudson Rotary Club was founded in 1923 and is based out of Hudson, MA. We are a service organization that supports the community of Hudson as well as other regional and international service projects.
We love Hudson and believe strongly in supporting the local community first and foremost.
The Rotary Club is a nonsectarian service organization whose motto is “Service above self.” Membership includes more than 1,200,000 members in nearly 30,000 clubs through-out 163 countries. The Hudson Rotary Club meets for dinner every Tuesday at 6:00pm at the Portuguese Club, 13 Port Street, Hudson, MA. Club Upcoming Highlights
September 25, 2018 – We will have our annual summer outing at member Marty Libby’s house. Each member brings a dish and we grill and enjoy a nice evening by the lake.
October 2, 2018 – We will have a regular meeting to discuss upcoming events.
October 13, 2018 – The first “Meet the Scarecrows” event held at Liberty Park in Hudson. We are joining the Hudson Public Library to help put on this fun event for families.
October 16, 2018 – We will have a celebration of our newly formed Interact Club. The students will join us as we recognize them as being charter members in this club and welcome them to the Rotary family. We are also going to do a small joint service project this evening.
October 20, 2018 – Hudson will host it’s annual Pumpkinfest at Morgan Bowl. Our club will be participating with some activities and prizes for all the students.
October 23, 2018 – We will spend our meeting putting together packets of candy to hand out to children at the annual downtown trick-or-treat.
October 25, 2018 – Main Street in Hudson will shut down as all the businesses will be handing out candy and other goodies to children for the town’s annual downtown trick-or-treat. We will be set up by town hall. Come see us and and get a treat (or trick :)).
October 30, 2018 – Dr. Brian Lisse will speak to our club about his organization, Bridges to Malawi. The club has been a supporter of this organization for several years, and we are always happy to welcome back Dr. Lisse to get an update on the project.
November 13, 2018 – Meg Bargdonas will speak to our club about the Freedom’s Way Heritage Association. Freedom’s Way is a heritage area desginated by Congress (1 of 49 in the US) and we will learn a little more about this.
