Giving Back
Rotarians recognized the 10 Hudson High School Juniors that attended RYLA this past summer at one of our September meetings. At our meeting we welcomed Rotary District Governor Elliott Rittenberg, RYLA Coordinator Christine Penny as well as the Hudson Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Brian Reagan and pictured below with the students HHS Principal Dr. Jason Medeiros and HHS Educator and Interact Advisor Pamela Porter.

Rotarians organized a Blanket Drive for the benefit of Fresh Start Furniture Bank during the month of September. We are grateful for the community support as we were able to collect two HUGE Bins of blankets and comforters. In addition, the Hudson Rotary Club donated 25 new sheets, blankets, and comforters.

In early September Rotarians delivered light and heavy duty water pumps and hoses to the Hudson Fire Department. The new equipment will assist the fire department with dewatering needs of the community.

The Hudson Rotary Club recently provided a sizable donation to the Hudson Health Department for the benefit of families experiencing homelessness, many of which are migrant/asylum seekers. To learn more about what you can do to assist please visit here.
On August 28th Rotarians delivered 20 backpacks as well as a trunk load of school supplies to the Hudson Police Department School Supply Drive.
